Manulife mEase is a non-participating plan that is designed to provide Critical illness & death coverage up to age 75, as well as Total & Permanent Disability(TPD) coverage up to age 65.

  1. A standalone Critical Illness plan.
  2. Covers 30 critical illnesses (CI), total and permanent disability (TPD) and loss of life.
  3. Pays lump sum upon TPD and diagnosis of any of the 29 covered CIs. For Angioplasty & other Invasive Treatment for Coronary Artery, 10% of the sum insured will be payable.
  4. Pays a Compassionate Death Benefit of $10,000.
  5. Option to convert to regular premium whole life, endowment or investment-linked policy, providing similar cover, from Manulife (Singapore), without evidence of health.
  6. Waiver of subsequent premiums upon TPD/CI claim with rider(s) attached. Life coverage continues.


This plan is underwritten by Manulife and acceptance of the proposal is subject to underwriting. Buying a life insurance is a long- term commitment. An early termination of the policy usually involves high costs and the surrender value payable may be less than the total premiums paid. 1 month – age 65

Note: The child must be out of hospital for at least 3 weeks subject to underwriting before the coverage starts. This is to prevent long periods of post-natal hospitalization brought about by premature delivery or congenital abnormalities.

Life Insured can be Singaporeans, Permanent Residents of Singapore (PR), Foreigners with valid employment pass, work permit, dependant pass, student pass and long term social visit pass and foreigners up to class D countries classification.

Premiums charged as per the premiums tables shared by Manulife.

  1. Premium rates vary by age, sex, smoker status and policy size (band).
  2. Premium rates are level and not guaranteed. Manulife reserves the right to change the premium rates by giving 30 days notice.
